A panoramic view over Forest in Teesdale, Upper Teesdale, within the North Pennines AONB, taking in Holwick Fell (left) round to Ettersgill (right). Three Pennine Peaks can be seen on the on the horizon. From left to right, Great Dun Fell with the air traffic control radar dome standing out nicely (2782 feet, 848m), Little Dun Fell (2709 feet, 842m) and Cross Fell which at 2,930 feet (893 m) is the highest point in the Pennines. Taken on a late autumn morning revealing snow cover on the hilltops.
